Speaker Raj Sisodia is one of the world’s most influential voices on conscious capitalism and purpose-driven business. Often called an “Intellectual Shaman,” he has spent more than three decades persuading executives and investors that care, purpose and humanity are not soft additions to a business model but the actual source of long-term value. Today he serves as FEMSA Distinguished University Professor of Conscious Enterprise at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico, where he chairs the Conscious Enterprise Center.
As Co-Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Conscious Capitalism, Inc., Raj helped build a global movement that now operates across dozens of countries and chapters, inspiring business leaders to align profit with purpose and to serve every stakeholder rather than only shareholders. His best-known book, Conscious Capitalism: Liberating the Heroic Spirit of Business, co-authored with Whole Foods Market co-founder John Mackey, became a New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller. A new and expanded edition introduces the concept of “conscious strategy,” exploring how leading companies are competing on caring, culture and joy, and how AI can be deployed in service of conscious performance rather than against it.
Raj has authored or co-authored 16 books in total, including The Healing Organization, Awaken: The Path to Purpose, Inner Peace and Healing, The Global Rule of Three and the influential Everybody Matters, written with Barry-Wehmiller CEO Bob Chapman. His earlier work, Firms of Endearment, helped establish the empirical case that organizations who genuinely care for their stakeholders consistently outperform their peers on traditional financial metrics.
Before joining Tec de Monterrey, Raj held the FW Olin Distinguished Professorship of Global Business and the Whole Foods Market Research Scholar role in Conscious Capitalism at Babson College. He previously served as Trustee Professor of Marketing and founder of the Center for Marketing Technology at Bentley University. The Chartered Institute of Marketing has recognized him among its “50 Leading Marketing Thinkers,” and he holds a Ph.D. in Marketing and Business Policy from Columbia University.
As a speaker, Raj Sisodia gives executives a coherent intellectual framework for the changes they already feel happening in their organizations, alongside concrete stories from companies that have made the shift work. Book him through Aurum Speakers Bureau to bring this perspective to your event, or explore his work at Conscious Capitalism.
Conscious Capitalism is a practical framework for anyone working to build a more sustainable, humane and cooperative economy. In this keynote, Raj Sisodia shows how companies including Southwest Airlines, Google, Tata and Costco are reshaping their industries by serving every stakeholder, employees, customers, suppliers, investors, society and the environment, rather than optimizing for shareholders alone. He defends the inherent goodness of business and offers executives a concrete blueprint for organizations that create lasting value while delivering strong financial performance. The session is designed for business leaders, entrepreneurs and changemakers ready to operate on a different set of assumptions about what business is for.
When organizations are run consciously, they can reduce suffering and increase joy while delivering exceptional results. Yet many companies still struggle to believe that human flourishing and profitability move together, and they miss the upside on both. Raj Sisodia presents the case that they do, drawing on stories from H.E.B., KIND, Jaipur Rugs and Union Square Hospitality Group to show how prioritizing the wellbeing of employees, customers and communities produces both financial success and meaningful societal impact. The keynote challenges traditional notions of corporate purpose and gives leaders the language to introduce a healing approach into their own organizations.
In his book Awaken, Raj Sisodia invites readers on a journey toward self-knowledge, healing and purposeful living. The keynote brings that work to a leadership audience, exploring how the personal search for meaning intersects with how executives lead their teams and shape their cultures. Drawing on his own experience and decades of research, Raj shows how aligning with an inner sense of purpose enriches personal life while also unlocking the deeper performance and creativity organizations need. The session is essential for leaders who sense that traditional leadership models are no longer enough and are looking for a more integrated way to lead.
In a global economy reshaped by digital innovation, geopolitical realignment and shifting consumer expectations, classical strategy frameworks no longer hold. Raj Sisodia presents the Global Rule of Three, his research finding that mature competitive markets consolidate around three dominant 'generalist' players while others thrive as focused specialists. The keynote examines how industries move from local to global stages and how emerging markets such as China and India are rewriting the rules. Raj then introduces 'conscious strategy' as the next layer: how leaders can align financial performance with social and environmental wellbeing to win in this new context.
Imagine an organization where every person feels seen, valued and cared for, and where leadership goes beyond profit metrics to prioritize human wellbeing. In this keynote, Raj Sisodia explores the leadership philosophy behind Barry-Wehmiller, the company led by Bob Chapman that redefined what it means to lead with purpose and empathy. Through case stories and research, Raj demonstrates how genuinely living out the principle that everybody matters transforms culture, ignites engagement and delivers extraordinary business results. The session leaves leaders with a clear picture of how to build workplaces that produce long-term performance through deep human connection.
