Sports speaker Allyson Felix is the most decorated American track and field Olympian in history, and one of the most respected and inspiring figures in all of sport. Over five Olympic Games and nearly two decades at the top, she won 11 Olympic medals, seven of them gold, and a record 20 World Championship medals, more than any athlete, man or woman, in history. But her greatest legacy may be what she has done with her voice, becoming a fearless advocate for women, mothers, and equity, on and off the track.
Felix made her Olympic debut in Athens in 2004 at just eighteen, and went on to compete in five consecutive Games through Tokyo 2020, where her final two medals broke the record she had shared with Carl Lewis as America’s most decorated track and field Olympian. Along the way she set world records, won fourteen world titles, and earned a reputation for the grace, grit, and longevity that defined her career. She retired from competition in 2022, and in 2026 announced a bid to return to the track, with the goal of competing at the LA 2028 Olympic Games.
