Innovation speaker Frederik Pferdt is one of the world’s leading voices on innovation culture and future-ready thinking. As Google’s first Chief Innovation Evangelist, he spent more than a decade shaping the company’s culture of creativity and experimentation, founding Google’s Innovation Lab and training tens of thousands of Googlers to develop, prototype, and launch new ideas.
Since 2013, Pferdt has been an adjunct professor at Stanford University’s d.school, where he teaches graduate courses on navigating the future at the intersection of innovation, creativity, and design. He has served as an innovation consultant to the United Nations, is a member of the Hall of Fame at Paderborn University, and has advised organizations including Adidas, Uber, Bayer, Daimler, Lufthansa, NASA, the NBA, SAP, and governments in more than 25 countries. Born near Lake Constance in Germany, he was educated across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
